What Is a Color Me Session?
A Color Me Session™ is a guided group experience that uses abstract art as a tool for self-awareness, nervous system insight, and relational pattern recognition.
Rather than analyzing your artwork, you’ll be gently guided to notice:
-
How you approach a blank canvas
-
Where you hesitate, rush, control, or avoid
-
What feels uncomfortable—or relieving
-
How these same patterns may show up in relationships and daily life
The canvas is blank.
The process is intentional.
Is this an Art class?
There are:
-
No techniques to master
-
No critiques or comparisons
-
No “right” outcomes
Art is used as information, not performance.
This experience is designed to slow you down, increase awareness, and help you observe patterns before judging or fixing them.
Why Abstract Art?
Abstract art removes rules, expectations, and familiar structure—allowing unconscious patterns to surface naturally.
What you do with uncertainty on the canvas often mirrors how you:
-
Navigate relationships
-
Respond to emotional ambiguity
-
Handle control, trust, and self-expression
You don’t have to explain your art.
You just have to notice what comes up.
Can I attend more than once?
Yes—and it’s encouraged.
Color Me Sessions are designed to be experienced multiple times. Each session offers a snapshot of how you relate to uncertainty in the present moment.
Participants often notice shifts over time, such as:
•Increased self-trust
•More emotional tolerance
•Less urgency to fix or control
•Greater ease with expression
This is not about repeating the same insight—it’s about observing change as it happens.
Who is this for?
This experience is ideal for you if:
-
You feel stuck repeating patterns and want deeper awareness
-
You’re tired of over-talking and over-analyzing
-
You want insight without pressure to “fix” yourself
-
You’re curious about how your nervous system shapes your choices
-
You’re open to reflection through experience, not just conversation
No art experience required.
